Last Sunday, there was a midnight sale in one of the malls here in our place. This mall will only give a one night sale until midnight on all their products as an early Christmas gift for their customers. I was pretty excited of the said sale because I can buy my dream stand mixer at a discounted price. So, Janjan and I went to the mall that night. Since we only had a few hours left to shop, we went straight to the appliance department. We were not entertained at first because all the salespeople were busy. Finally, somebody asked us if we were entertained already, I said not yet. So the salesman asked what I might be interested in, I said I want that stand mixer. The salesman got the mixer and he demonstrated all the functions of the mixer. He then tested it when I told him that I will buy that one. While the salesman tested the mixer, Janjan, my son, was roaming around the appliance center. He saw toaster ovens. He came back to me and he told me that he saw some nice toaster ovens, so after testing the mixer, we went to the toaster ovens and it was really looking good but I don’t know the brand names, so I told Janjan that I will ask his daddy first if he knows about the ratings of toaster ovens. I would also like to have this toaster oven but not now.

I received this Christmas tag few days ago and I always forgot it to post it here. David Funk of Basic Bloganomics gave this to me. He’s a very friendly blogger here in the blogosphere and I am so thankful that even if I always post his tag or award very late but still, I am on his lists whenever he wants to pass an award to his blogger friends. And to David, thank you so much for passing this tag to me. I appreciated it so much.

Now I am passing this Christmas tag to all my friends here, whether you are in my blogroll or not, this one’s for you.

This is actually the sky today. It was 5:00 in the afternoon already when I took this picture. During the day, as usual, if you go out without having an umbrella, it is like you were inside the oven. I know it sounds ridiculous because other countries, they only use umbrella during rainy days but here in the Philippines, umbrella is use on rainy days as well as sunny days. But if you like to bake yourself in the sun then don’t bring umbrella. Lol. So, for this week Looking at the Sky on Friday meme, here’s my entry for this week.

The Eye Test
I went to blogthings again and I saw this Eye Test quiz and here’s the result of my short quiz. It says that I am sensitive? I think I am not. Well, this is only a game..hehe.
The Eye Test
Deep Down You Are Sensitive
You're the type of person who notices everything and forgets nothing. You are very in tune with the world.
You feel deeply, and sometimes the silliest things can affect you. You are easily brought to laughter or tears.
You don't show the world how fragile you are. You instead show people how insightful you can be.
You are good at anticipating what's going to happen in your life. You are often the first one to see what's coming.

Moments with Baxter
If you will not cry this video then you are not human. When I saw this video, I can’t help myself not to cry. I can relate this video because our puppy named Nikki, if you remember her; she died because she was sick for a month. She didn’t like to eat anymore. And this video reminded me of Nikki, my lovable puppy. Please watch the video how this dog brought happiness to the people around him. Watch this.

Company owners and managers constantly face decisions on selling costs, product pricing, volumes as well as selling the business asset when the business activity is in recession. Selling the business is a very important part of the owners tasks. If it is not properly planned, or the business doesn’t have an exit strategy, instead of getting back a little profit or getting even to the break-even point, you may end up with a great loss of the business.
I remember when I was employed; my bosses sold their business in a wrong time. They didn’t ask opinions from the experts, professional advisor or to anybody who has knowledge in generational equity. As a result, they sold their business at a very low value. I know my bosses were not happy of course, because they lost their business, money, time and effort ,but it was their fault. They were in a hurry to sell the business. I wish they had listened to their business partners who had knowledge of selling a business. Well, I was one of the lucky employees who received a little money from them even if the business got the big loss. I was thankful at that time but I was sad at the same time because I missed the company, my office mates, and my work. Now I am currently unemployed for a couple of years and it is hard for me to look for a job because most of the companies need a young and fresh graduate individuals.
